It was my 2nd time visiting Cam. I only waited maybe 7 min before his assistant shampooed and conditioned my hair. Very relaxing and the shampoo smelled wonderful. I showed Cam some photos of inspiration. He was honest yet open-minded about hairstyles that would complement my face better. My hair feels so much lighter and love my new hair!

Most people never get the opportunity to have stylist of this level work on their hair. She visions it and makes it happen. It’s the type of thing you didn’t realize you were missing until she did it, and you’re like, “my hair does that!?!” That’s probably why visiting rock stars want to work with her.

The time flies by when I’m in her chair, and I always leave with an extra bounce in my step. You know that feeling when you show a hairstylist an inspo pic and you’re a little concerned that it might not turn out the way you want it to? And then you leave the salon and it’s.. not what you were expecting?Sovay is a hair ARTIST. She will take your inspo pics, the ones you probably have saved on your Pinterest board- and make it reality. I wouldn’t even be surprised if some of the inspo pics on your Pinterest board are Sovay’s work.I went in with inspiration photos, for a pretty dramatic (to me) haircut and I had that feeling, like, is even this doable? Two minutes in, sitting in Sovay’s chair, did I know I was in really good hands- that concern was gone.Three things that stood out to me during my session:- Sovay will ask you questions throughout your haircut- not just one or two questions. “Do you like this length?” *cuts shorter* “Okay how about now?” “What are your thoughts on this?” While also referencing the photos you’ve showed her.- Sovay will ask you questions, but she will also tell you if she doesn’t think something will look good in relation to your face shape. So important!- She takes her time, there is no rush whatsoever.Sovay really wants you to love your hair and that’s exactly how I felt when I left her salon.And, as a bonus, Sovay is a really cool person to talk to. I really enjoyed our conversations; it was like talking to a very knowledgeable friend.The ambiance of her salon was also super cool. Your session is in your own room so it’s a really personalized experience.Thank you Sovay.

I’ve been going for the past 2+ years (since their Airport Blvd location) and have gone back to see either Bea or Windy, and they always do a great job!I have thiiiick, straight hair that’s heavy and tough to style, but both women know how to thin it out and style it to perfection! I’ve gotten a digital perm 3x now and each time, it’s turned out exactly the way I wanted it.Just be clear with what you want and they’ll work with you to get it just right.They’ve recently moved to this new location and though it’s much smaller, it feels more intimate which is what I like especially when it comes to feeling special while getting my hair done 🥰

Since I was a kid I’ve always had PTSD from previous cuts which turned into curly neglect over the many years of my curl journey (I didn’t grow up knowing how to take care of my curly hair).
