I come here because the place I usually go to in New Jersey is very much booked up and you have to book in advance. Originally when I did my first set with JessIe, My nails lasted without a question for about 3 to 4 weeks and I’ve could’ve won an extra week. The second time that I did it, I was less impressed. Unfortunately, my nails are already starting to break and so I’m a little disappointed, as this has never happened with me and Japanese gel before. Otherwise, technicians are very professional and attempt to do the art work you provide them with replicas of.

Firstly, the women who run this shop are lovely. However, their technique is woefully inconsistent and for the price point ā€” this should not be the case. Removal is typically less than 30 mins but it has taken up to an hour. This will result in short changing the quality of your service. If my tech is into the design Iā€™ve chosen, it will show. If they arenā€™t, I will walk out paying more than I ever should for basic nails that will lift. Not to mention, the tech will find every way to blame you for their piss poor application. I have worn gel-x extensions for 3+ years and the variability in the service here is off-putting. My most recent set which is exactly one week old, has already had the chrome peel and a nail lift. Find somewhere else with better consistency.

I’m fairly new to the nail art game and I have to say, finding Art Up Nail Studio was a happy accident. I stumbled upon them back in October 2022 as I was looking for a fun design to go with my bridesmaid dress for an upcoming wedding. I’ve been a convert ever since. Sandra is my go-to artist but really everyone that works there is outstanding. Gel manicures were always a miss for me as they never really last as long as they are advertised and I always felt like I was doing more damage to my nails than good. However, since becoming a customer of Art Up Nail, my manicures last a full 4 weeks. My nails have never been longer or stronger! I can’t recommend Sandra and the team at Art Up Nail Studio enough.
