I am so happy with my haircut from Georgina! She fixed my choppy layers and my hair is so blended and smooth and healthy looking now. I have 4a/4b type hair but it is relaxed. It is hard to find hairstylists that can cut my hair just right but she knocked it out the park. I will definitely be back I’m so glad I found this place.

The best stylists in the Bay Area! I have been coming here for years and they always make me feel welcome and ALWAYS nail the style that I’m going for. I moved from Oakland to SF last year and I still take the train across the bay just to come here – I have gotten cuts at other salons and it just doesn’t compare to the magic they work here at BIBO. I have a lot of hair on my head, and it has historically been really difficult to find the right stylist, but I trust the folks here. I’ve had my hair cut by Itzel, Angel, and Skye, and they are all so so skilled at what they do. They have wonderful communication and always make my hair goals a reality. I always leave here feeling cute and fresh!

Gonna open this review up with: I have thiiiiick type 4c hair and went in with a natural dark brown. I wanted a honey blonde gradient — dark blonde roots and super light tips — and assumed my hair would probably look a little fried and dyed afterwards. For context, I last did this to my hair over ten years ago with a couple of Aveda students. I have realistic expectations.And those expectations were blown out of the water. Cheri KNOWS HAIR. Even afro-textured hair. I left feeling so cute. I currently have my hair up in a messy twist bun (my favorite style) and can’t stop looking at myself in the mirror. I’m not tenderheaded, but Cheri was incredibly gentle in detangling and applying the bleach. I also expected my scalp to feel tender after so much manipulation, but I feel nothing out of the ordinary! Cheri is also fun to chat with and super understanding. So many good things about this visit.I’ll update this review with some pictures later so other kinky-coily people can make an informed decision about scheduling at BIBO.
